World Record attempt

World's longest line of people powered paddle propelled water craft*

Sunday 25th of JuneĀ

Midday (Get on the water at 11:45!)

Bendeela Recreation Area

With almost 40km of flat water from below the Hampden Bridge in town to Fossickers Flat on the Upper Shoalhaven River in the Ettrema Wilderness, there's a lot of room for boats!

We established an informal record at the F.O.C.K. in 2022 for the longest line of world's longest line of floating unpowered water craft and now we're looking to make it official! We're applying for the records to be adjudicated by The Australian Book of Records!

Who can participate?

Please note: It's a requirement to wear a life jacket if you want to participate in the World Record attempt. If you don't have one you can hire one on the day.

It's FREE to register and participate! Bring your own boat or hire one from the many canoe and kayak businesses in the area.

And don't forget to bring your friends so we can set an incredible record!

*Technical details: world's longest line of floating unpowered water craft (people powered paddle propelled water craft: canoes, kayaks, SUPs, dragon boats, pack rafts, and more!)
